Assessment

SpeedTrader remains a purpose-built active-trading broker rather than a mainstream zero-commission platform.

The cost structure rewards volume:

• stock commissions begin at $0.0025 per share;
• options begin at $0.35 per contract;
• platform fees fall as monthly commission generation rises.

The current account-minimum language needs caution.

SpeedTrader's live pages do not currently present one internally consistent day-trading minimum after the 2026 rule change.

The review should preserve that conflict instead of pretending the website is cleaner than it is.
