Overview

Altrady combines a multi-exchange crypto trading terminal with automated bots and a local AI/MCP workflow.

Its current product includes:

  • Grid Bots;
  • Signal Bots;
  • DCA position management;
  • smart orders;
  • portfolio tools;
  • alerts;
  • paper trading;
  • exchange connections;
  • spot and selected futures support;
  • a Model Context Protocol integration for compatible AI assistants.

The AI workflow has an important control boundary.

Current Altrady MCP materials describe AI assistants such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex as able to inspect trading information and prepare actions.

But actions that write or move money are queued for user approval.

For a new trade, the AI can prepare the trade in Altrady's Trade panel, but the user must submit it.

That makes Altrady materially different from a product that gives an external AI agent unrestricted live-order authority.

May fit better for

  • traders managing several crypto exchanges;
  • users who want Grid and Signal Bots in one interface;
  • users who want DCA position automation;
  • traders who want paper trading;
  • users who want an AI assistant to inspect portfolio and bot state;
  • traders who want AI-prepared actions with a confirmation step;
  • users who want desktop-local MCP operation;
  • eligible futures traders using supported exchanges.

May fit less well for

  • investors seeking discretionary fiduciary portfolio management;
  • users who want AI to place unrestricted trades without confirmation;
  • investors who do not want cryptocurrency risk;
  • traders who need the same futures functionality on every exchange;
  • users who assume Grid Bot is a universal futures bot;
  • users who do not want recurring subscription fees;
  • investors who expect software security to protect against market loss.

---

Altrady is a Dutch software company

Current Terms identify:

  • Legal company: Altrady B.V.
  • Company number: 77469607
  • Jurisdiction: Netherlands

Current public materials describe Altrady as software rather than a custodian or regulated financial institution.

The exchange account remains the financial account.

---

Current pricing is denominated in euros

Current pricing shows month-to-month reference prices of:

  • Basic monthly: €28
  • Essential monthly: €50
  • Premium monthly: €90

Current annual-billing equivalents are:

  • Basic annual equivalent: €20/month
  • Essential annual equivalent: €35/month
  • Premium annual equivalent: €63/month

The platform states that billing occurs in EUR.

Exchange rates change.

Current materials also disclosures show:

  • Free trial: 5 days
  • Trial credit card required: No

---

Plan limits change materially

Current plan materials distinguish account, bot, and alert capacity.

DCA positions are treated differently from Grid/Signal bot counts.

---

Paper trading can remain available after the trial

Current product/help materials describe a free plan or continuing free paper-trading experience after the paid trial.

Store conservatively:

  • Paper trading: Yes
  • Paper trading free: Yes
  • Full live paid features free forever: No

Paper trading is useful for operational practice.

It does not create live fill evidence.

---

Grid Bot is currently a spot-oriented workflow

Current Grid Bot documentation describes the current Grid workflow for spot trading.

This matters because Altrady as a platform supports selected futures workflows, but that does not mean every bot type is available on every market type.

A platform-level “futures supported” field must not overwrite bot-specific restrictions.

---

Signal Bot can act on external or built-in signals

Current Signal Bot materials describe automation from:

  • built-in signal sources;
  • TradingView webhooks;
  • custom signal providers;
  • other event-driven inputs.

A signal is still an input.

It can be stale, wrong, delayed, duplicated, or unsuitable for the selected market.

---

Altrady MCP runs locally in the desktop app

Current MCP materials describe a local desktop integration.

Compatible assistant references include:

  • Claude;
  • Claude Code;
  • Cursor;
  • Codex.

The AI can inspect information such as:

  • positions;
  • alerts;
  • bots;
  • watchlists;
  • current market data.

It can also help prepare:

  • smart positions;
  • Grid Bots;
  • Signal Bots;
  • alerts.

This creates a useful AI-assisted operating layer without automatically giving the assistant unrestricted fund movement.

---

Write actions require approval

This is the central Altrady AI guard.

Current MCP materials say write actions are queued for user approval.

For a new trade, the action is prepared in the Trade panel and the user submits it.

Claude autonomously trades your Altrady account.

That is not the current documented approval model.

This confirmation layer reduces one category of AI-action risk.

It does not guarantee the prepared trade is appropriate.

A user can still approve a bad trade.

---

API keys require read and trade permissions, not withdrawals

Current exchange connection guidance says Altrady needs read and trade permissions.

It says withdrawal permission should not be enabled.

Current security documentation also describes encrypted API-key storage and trusted-IP workflows for applicable exchanges.

---

Current exchange breadth is split between spot and futures

Current supported-exchanges documentation disclosures show:

  • Spot exchange count: 17
  • Futures exchange count: 5

The counts are useful current references.

They do not mean:

  • 22 completely distinct exchange brands;
  • every spot exchange supports futures;
  • every user can access every venue;
  • every bot supports every venue.

Jurisdiction and exchange account eligibility remain controlling.

Assessment

Altrady's current AI implementation is strongest as an assisted trading-control layer rather than an autonomous portfolio manager.

That distinction matters.

The assistant can help a trader inspect a complicated multi-exchange state and prepare actions, but current MCP documentation keeps write actions behind approval and requires the user to submit new trades.

The platform therefore combines two forms of automation:

  1. existing bots can continue operating according to configured rules;
  2. AI-generated or AI-prepared new actions are subject to user confirmation.
